Former cyclist Henk Lubberding

Henk Lubberding is also known as the hard-working foreman who was in the lead for kilometres on end. He was part of a close team that motivated and stimulated each other and eventually made each other better, stronger and more complete. He knows like no other that “team building” is key to success. He won the title of Dutch champion twice and won the Gent-Wevelgem classic.
In his second year as a professional, Henk became Dutch champion on the road right away and he came in eighth in the Round of France. Due to his good performances, Henk became leader of the Raleigh team, but after a less successful Tour and injuries he came to the conclusion that he was better of as a domestique. He participated in the Tour de France thirteen times, achieved three stage wins, won the white jersey, rode in yellow and ended up in the top ten of the general classification three times; all top performances.
