Hotel and Conference Center Papendal is a four-star property and has a modern and functional style to its exterior appearance. We are situated in the heart of sporting excellence, but this does not affect our business purposes. Here, athletes train for the highest possible achievements,  and we deliver the same service for our business guests.

Our property is suitable for mainly business markets, however at the weekends and during holidays and festive seasons we are also ideal for the leisure market. Our visitors appreciate the hotel’s location, just 10 kilometers outside the city center and in the middle of the most beautiful, calm and private surroundings with its proximity to the main highways as well as multiple public transport options. The train station of Arnhem is approximately 20 minutes by car away, while guests can also reach us within 45-90 minutes by car from different International and regional airports, like Amsterdam Schiphol, Dusseldorf International Airport and smaller airports like Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Dusseldorf Weeze.

Hotel accommodation
The hotel features a total of 151 rooms consisting of 75 twin standard rooms, 67 twin superior rooms and 8 suites. The difference between the standard rooms and deluxe rooms is based in terms of size and the superior rooms have a desk with chair for you to work. All rooms are equipped with a safe, free WiFi, phone and flatscreen TV. Air conditioning is not available.

Our restaurant
Our Restaurant is located on the first floor and can accommodate up to 220 people. We aim to serve nutritious, biological, in some cases plant-based and delicious food, which perfectly meets our sustainable goals. We have our own vegetable garden where we grow seasonal fruits, herbs and vegetables and we work with local suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint. Our restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Our facilities
Our hotel has a fitness and sauna located in the basement of the hotel, overlooking the green surroundings and not overpowering the meetings and events space as it is situated on the other side of our conference center and not on the same floor. The hotel also offers a hotel bar with terrace.

Meeting rooms
There are a total of 28 meeting rooms, all designed for meetings and events – consisting of large, medium and small rooms making the facility very flexible for all types of meetings especially Sales Conferences, Product Launches, Advisory Meetings. The largest room, the Athens can accommodate up 1800 persons. This room is very business orientated with high ceilings, a spotlighted stage, technical desk and the possibility to divide the room into multiple sections for different Healthcare meeting purposes, like a tradeshow, lunch or plenary session. We have a dedicated host who will help you during Healthcare meeting with any questions you might have.
