Capoeira

A unique Brazilian game of martial art, acrobatics and music. The body language and philosophy of Capoeira have been shaped by the fight for freedom of the Afro-Brazilian slaves over the past 400 years. Capoeira is therefore a liberating game which literally turns the world upside down.

To participate in a workshop, you do not require specific physical abilities. Due to the diversity of Capoeira, young and old can participate in the game or with the music. The challenge, atmosphere and group dynamics of Capoeira make it a perfect activity for any target group.

What will you be doing?
Interaction, surprise and swing are key principles. The final goal of the workshop is to create a Capoeira circle together and play the game with live music. The Brazilian music instruments add a special and energetic feel to it.
